+ About

Future Shipwreck is a daily arts and culture blog featuring original interviews and contextual coverage of photography, video, painting, print, new media, pop culture and comics. These are the people who write it:

Graham Kolbeins (editor)

I love the feeling of discovering art and I love sharing that feeling with other people. I live in Los Angeles, where I run an art art gallery called Mastodon Mesa and help out at Dallas Clayton’s Awesome World. Previously, I’ve written words and taken pictures for Mean, Giant Robot, The Advocate and Spike Jonze’s We Love You So. I’m 22, queer, and idealistic. I like mysteries, texas hold ‘em, badminton and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. Send me an e-mail!

Dan Rosplock

Hello, friends! My name is Dan Rosplock: classically trained wordsmith and amateur portmanteau enthusiast. I’m a proud Kentuckian, currently residing in Indiana with my partner. His interests include higher education policy and ruthlessly correcting my Spanish grammar. I hope to one day work for an organization that specializes in queer advocacy, especially in rural areas. Meanwhile, I enjoy writing about arty stuff for my good friend and intellectual conscience, Graham.
